What does a bottle called Hulkyz actually taste of? Nine recipes, one ratio, and flavour profiles that have almost nothing in common from one bottle to the next.

Liquideo’s Juice Heroes range reads badly from a shop page, where the artwork counts for more than the stated notes. We sorted its recipes by flavour family, then set the whole range against two rival French ranges on taste, ratio and vapour.

Which Juice Heroes recipe fits the flavour you want

For a clean exotic fruit, Mistyk with its iced dragon fruit is the easiest way into the range. For a fizzy, sweet note, Clark Kent plays cherry cola. For something tart, Pinky combines grapefruit, orange and lemon.

What ties the nine recipes together is the ratio. The whole range is 30/70, a choice that points to the hardware before taste even comes into it, and rules out small pods with high-resistance coils from the start.

How the three fruit ranges compare

The first two columns come from manufacturer Liquideo’s range pages, the third from a technical sheet published by a French retailer. All three describe the listings on the French market.

The nine recipes sorted by flavour family

The range is built around illustrated characters, which makes the catalogue hard to read, since a bottle’s name says nothing about what is inside. Sorting by profile is the only useful way to choose.

Exotic fruit

Mistyk pairs dragon fruit with a strong iced effect and serves as the benchmark for the range’s level of cooling. Mask’on goes for melon and honey, rounder and less cold. Katz combines jackfruit and citrus, the most unusual recipe of the lot.

Wonder rests on soursop and aloe vera, a green profile rarely seen among competitors. These four recipes alone justify the range in a market saturated with red fruit.

Classic fruit and sweeter recipes

Magneto offers a peach coulis, the most crowd-pleasing recipe in the selection. Pinky brings grapefruit, orange and lemon together in a tart register. Hulkyz relies on iced guarana, an earthy note rarely found in e-liquid.

Two recipes step away from fruit, Clark Kent with cherry cola and Holy Queen with sour sweets. They cope better with high power than the delicate fruits, whose definition collapses beyond 50 watts.

What 30/70 demands from your hardware

A glycerine-rich ratio is either something you put up with or something you look for. Here the manufacturer settled the question for the whole range, and that consistency costs it some flexibility.

A base with 70 per cent glycerine is thick. It passes poorly through the narrow wicking ports of a mouth to lung coil above 1 ohm, and the cotton runs dry after a few puffs in a row. A burnt taste follows quickly.

On an open tank between 0.15 and 0.6 ohm, the same base gives a thick cloud and carries the iced notes properly. That is the ground these recipes were formulated for, and the high VG mention on the label says as much.

The detail that trips up small pods

Many recent pods accept 0.6 ohm coils and suggest they can handle a 30/70. In practice their small reservoir and narrow channels limit flow, and wicking falls behind over a long session.

The practical rule is to check how wide the coil’s wicking ports are rather than its resistance alone. Two 0.6 ohm coils do not tolerate a thick base equally.

Bottle sizes and strengths across the three ranges

All three ranges come in 10 ml and 50 ml, so the comparison is fair on format. The differences sit in the ratio each size carries and in the strengths on offer.

Juice Heroes keeps 30/70 on both sizes, Multi Freeze keeps 50/50 on both, and Fruizee moves from 50/50 in 10 ml to 30/70 in 50 ml. Only Juice Heroes therefore gives a direct lung vaper the same base whichever size they pick.

On strength, the 10 ml bottles of Juice Heroes and Multi Freeze stop at 10 mg/ml, whereas the small Fruizee bottle reaches 18 mg/ml. The 50 ml of each range comes without nicotine, and boosting it keeps the finished strength well below what a 10 ml can offer.

The verdict, profile by profile

This range was designed for a specific use, and it excels there. Anywhere else it becomes a poor choice, however interesting its recipes may be.

Mouth to lung vapers (MTL)

Leave it aside. Its constant 30/70 brings no benefit on a high-resistance coil and makes wicking harder. Multi Freeze, in 50/50 across its range, answers this need far better with comparable fruit profiles.

The small Fruizee bottle is the other coherent option, with a wider strength range that climbs to 18 mg/ml in freebase nicotine.

Direct lung and cloud vapers (DL)

This is where the range pulls ahead. Its 30/70 feeds an open atomiser properly, and its iced exotic profiles take the rise in power without turning into cooked sugar.

Only the large Fruizee format plays in the same ratio category. The comparison between the two versions of that recipe is set out in our piece on the cloud from Fruizee Bloody Summer.

Frequently asked questions

What does high VG on the label mean?

It indicates a higher share of vegetable glycerine than propylene glycol, here 70 against 30. The term is not standardised, and a manufacturer may use it from 60 per cent glycerine upwards. Only the ratio in figures counts.

How many nicotine shots does a 50 ml bottle need?

One 10 ml shot at 18 mg/ml brings a 50 ml to about 3 mg/ml for 60 ml of finished liquid. Two shots add 360 mg of nicotine to 70 ml of finished liquid, which gives 5.14 mg/ml. Beyond that the bottle overflows and the ratio drifts.

Do iced recipes lose their chill over time?

Yes, cooling agents fade faster than sweet notes. In a bottle opened several months ago the cool effect recedes first, which tips the recipe towards sweetness without making it unpleasant.

Does a 30/70 e-liquid shorten coil life?

Not directly because of the ratio, but indirectly. A thick base feeds the cotton less well, and small dry spells speed up charring. On suitable hardware, coil life stays comparable to a 50/50.

Can these recipes go in a low-powered refillable pod?

It is not advisable. The small reservoir and narrow wicking channels do not suit a base with 70 per cent glycerine, and the result falls apart after a few puffs in a row.

Juice Heroes, a range to keep for direct lung vaping

Nine recipes that make sense once sorted by family, a single ratio held with conviction and the same two formats as its rivals. This range does what it says, provided it goes on the right hardware.

The advice fits in a sentence. Judge Juice Heroes first by the tank you give it, and only then by the bottle you pick from the range, which is true of every high VG line on the market.
